hi all i am currently doing spray tanning but i would like to do waxing as well where do i start ? what do i need and is it as profitable as spray tanning? could i offer waxing and then do a tan on the same appointment?

Waxing is good if you build up a clientele that will have it regularly - you can't do a wax and then a tan no - you have to wait 48 hours before you can tan after being waxed as the hair follicle has to close - otherwise you can get black spots where the hairs have been removed and the tan has gone into the skin - that can also cause infection in the follicle.

Hi Steph, naughty girl, look in your manual!! You need to allow at least 24 hours because you need to allow the pores to close and any residue of the wax to go before tanning the skin. And some peoples skin could be sensitive to waxing so this needs to go back to normal first.
