Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get a website up and running soon but I want to make sure that the info I have on it doesnt confuse potential clients, in particular any reference to manicures and file & polishes. I have read through lots of posts and there seems to be many different definitions/combinations discussed. Would you please check my details below and help me get it right?

PS this is not what I will have worded on my website, it is only to show what I think I need.

Manicure - Cuticle tidy, nail reshape - do you apply top coat to give nice shine?

Deluxe manicure - mittens, creams etc, hoping to do this on my course

File & Polish - same as above but with nail enamel and top coat

French Polish - same as above but white tipped

Tips with colour - dont know what you call this? Is this simply classed as nail art.

Also, what do you do if someone for example wants only tips painted, do you kind of throw in manicure part for free (i.e do it as a matter of course) or do you charge them for two separate things?

Sorry its a bit long winded, just need any advice that you can give and rough idea of prices you would charge

THis is how Ive worded my site (in process of making)

manicure price list ( same for pedicures)

BASIC = shape and polish or buff (including removal of old polish)
CLASSIC = soak? shape, cuticle work, polish or buff
CLASSIC FRENCH = as classic, but inc of frnch polish
LUXURY = shape, cuticle work, exfoliation, hand/arm massage,
paraffin wax, polish or buff
LUXURY FRENCH = as above with french polish

HEATED MITTS COULD BE INCLUDED TOO OR CHARGED EXTRA

if someone only wants tips painting, charge appropriatly, I dont know whether youre starting mobile? but if you are remember it costs to get there, if they come to you then Id charge ?? mmm £4-£5

as for prices to charge, I think youre better off, seeing what the local rate is first, and price accordingly to youre circumstancces
