Weekend Nails?

I have only just heard about these and am a little confused

If I applied a tip with a thin layer of acrylic then someone banged one of them the nail would have no structure so it would break, would this not be painful as its still attached to the nail no matter how thinly??

Weekend nails shouldn't be applied with acrylic.

People pay alot Less for weekend nails , for the fact you don't apply acrylic!!

You just apply the tips, resin then activate . These should then last a few days x

They are just nail extentions designed to last for a few days. You just apply the tip as normal, then a couple of layers of resin before giving a light file and buff.

For my weekenders, I do my usual (file, cuticle work etc) then apply NSI Elation Natural tips (very sturdy) and blend them into the natural nail. Get the client to wash their hands, then polish. Mine last up to 6 days... I was never taught the resin/activator method.
