Hi Evry1

I am doing WW at the minute - and was wondering if anyone new the points value of fresh seafood i.e. cockles, mussels, prawns, crab?

I bought loads from the fish stall over the weekend - tastes nice and healthy but does anyone no the points value of this sort of food on WW?

Thanks

Hi Hayley, which plan are you following? If you do the no count, then these foods are all free as long as they have no sauces or dressing with them. You must have a booklet with all the "free" foods and the extra points values?

Hiya,

Sorry don't know the WW points for seafood like that but wanted to say how brilliant WW is, I lost 2 stone last year and haven't put more than a few pounds back on... its brilliant.. I would have though fresh seafood with nothing on it would be really good. xx

i am doing the points plan.

I can not find in my books anywhere about fresh seafood.

But I didnt have any sauces, just some vinegar - which i think is 0 points?

Vinegar is def Zero points but sorry no idea on the seafood.... and don't have my ww log in anymore?! xx

thanks for your help - and well done on your weight loss!! x

Im not 100% but im sure you can have 5 crabsticks for 0.5 pts which is excellent. I would assume all seafood is pretty similiar. hth x

not fresh, but here's what I found:
cockles 1 medium portion 50g 1/2
or
cockles in vinegar 155g 1 1/2
Fresh mussels with shell portion of 4 equals 1/2 point
fresh prawns peeled 60g portion equals 1 point
and
fresh crab 1 medium(110g) equals 2 points.

I'm doing w. watchers too, lost 2 stone with it a couple years ago and now do it once in a while just to maintain. It's not easy but it's sooo worth all the measuring and counting! :D
Let us know how you're getting on! :D
