For those who have worked with Wella’s Color Create..

I have a client looking for bubblegum pink hair. Color create is my preference of semi permanent fashion colour, however, it is fairly pricy for clients. I’ve seen folk dilute other semi brands like Crazy Color and Directions using conditioner, could this work for Color Create to save money on the tubes of diluter?

Yes you can add water to it- as with all colours it reduces the durability tho

Will this pastelise the colour the same as the clear diluter?

Yes it’s more like a rinse on the hair - but the clear will last longer

I use conditioner to dilute the colour as water will make the consistency too runny.

Have you used Colour Fresh Create - the consistency is very thick so water is ok

Ah no, I was referring to the use of Crazy Colour and Directions products mentioned in the OP.

O right I read the post as being about using Create

You can mix with water not conditioner
