I have a client booked in for a colour and I’ve literally never done anything like what she’s after so I’m a bit stuck with making the right colour choice! She said she doesn’t want the roots quite as purpley but is happy for the ends to be more of the purply tone! But she still likes the other colour of the ends! I think she likes how multi tonal it is! She also said her hair used to be ginger naturally?

I’m thinking of doing a root colour and maybe leaving some of the lightness and pulling some darker ones through! Maybe adding some lightness in the underneath! Obvs making sure all hair is coloured in the balayage..
I suggested not to go quite as dark with the root colour as it would be a big jump and she is quite pale!
I’m just really not sure on what colours to choose? I’m hoping someone could help x

That picture is highly edited, but I'd look at colour touch 6 /75+7 /97 for the base, maybe just 6/71 for the root. To tone the lighter bits it consider 8/38+9/36 colour touch. To be fair based on how your describing your client I'm not sure this is the best option for her.
