So I’ve been hairdressing for 20 years, mobile for most of them, I’m looking at all the Wella colour courses to update my skills, I know their numbering system, I’ve always used Wella, I’m wondering if anyone has done any of their courses recently and could maybe suggest which would be ideal?
I’d say using bleach and colour correction are probably my weakness, applying highlights and root colours are more my thing, I also can’t afford to spend over £170 and waste it on what I already know!
I’ve been looking at the blonde toolbox and colour craft Balyage courses, (as I’ve never done a balyage course)
Has anyone done these and think they’d be suitable? Finding it hard to choose what to go for? Wish I could afford them all!

Balayage is about technique/colour placement more than product, so you could look at Balayage courses run by your nearest wholesaler, rather than a specific Wella one. For instance Salon Services have a Balayage course for £99 plus vat. There are lots of smaller companies offering training in specific areas too.

Thanks I’ll look at them, I saw one online before but something about it just seemed dodgy, so was scared to lose my money, wasn’t a wholesalers one though!
