Hi geeks. Ok client background. A lady of mine came to me 15 weeks ago for a colour. She wanted to go considerable lighter. I advised not to as I didn’t think she would like it but was adamant so I did bleach all over with 6% and toner to a very light blonde (shock she didn’t like it was too light for her) so a week later I toned it down using goldwell 8gb and 7nn wgjch she preferred!! Now coming up to her next coloir app she wasn’t to go a “mushroom brown “ coloir (pic 1) now I would deffo be inclined to use illumina 6/16 with some base. But she has 100% grey roots so not sure how this covers as never used it on grey and because her hsir has lightened after all these weeks (pic 2) the bleach is there. So my worry is I don’t want it going khaki. But she loves the flatness of this mushroom brown colour. She wants no good or warmth wgst so ever. Help

I would do maybe 30g 77/0 +1.5g /11 +0.5g 0/66 +32g and then apply CT 10g 8/71+10g 7/89 + 5g 7/97 +50g 1.9% on lighter ends.

It shouldn't go khaki, because the /9 tone will subdue yellow tones, the /7 will add natural warmth and /1+/8 tones will keep it nice and cool. Same as root colour (kp), the /11 will keep it cool, and the /66 will control yellow, stopping a brassy root glow. Hope this helps.

I probably wouldn't just incase it affects the tone. It very rare that I pre pig with colour touch to be honest unless it's vital
