So I’m thinking I’d need to babylight/highlight the whole head for a result like this? And then colour/tone over ? Bearing in mind this client has tonnes of hair..

or with the second aim its more balayage and there is clear definition between the light and dark pieces which Id say would be more achievable? but I think it’s just the pieces at the front the client likes..

what would you suggest?
