I am a certified hairdresser that graduated in 1994. I have not worked in a salon, but do friends and family's hair. My sister wanted to do highlights. Her base is a 4NN, so I used Joico Blonde life 9+ with a 9% volume at the nape switching to a 6% as going to the top. Her hair lightened to a 7/8. She is looking for a burgandy highlight. So I used Wella 5/55. Her hair turned a orange to red color. So at this point I used Wella 3/66 full bottle of 2.5 oz with 1/4 of 5/07. This turned her highlights blue. I was thinking to do a bleach wash and then use Goldwell 6R & 5VV. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hairdresser in distress....
