Wet Filing??

Yesterday I had a lot of filing to do on my nails, had completely the wrong cb colour on but didn't want to soak off and apply new set, anyway the dust was flying everywhere looked like it was snowing:lol:, so I wet my file!

Are there any downsides to doing this?, i'm pressuming there are or everyone would be doing it.

Quite a few techs I know wet file ...... as long as your application is spot on and thin around the sidewalls and cuticles it shouldn't cause any problems, I often wet file with oil.
It can make it difficult to see what you are doing.
