Hi, I own a hair and beauty salon. I did my hairdressing training back in 1995 when I was 29, oldest junior in the college!! Anyhow I have had a couple of salons, sold them and now have one in Hoylake. I introduced beauty and I hate that I can't cover holidays, days off and the fact that I may get left in the lurch has encouraged me to go back to college to do beauty from scratch. I will be the oldest this time at 45!!! Anyhow, I am a quick learner and I am determined to do this as I am always professional and willing to learn. If any of you out there can give me some tips and what course books to buy I will be eternally grateful:)

Your course books will be recommended by the college however you can alway add other books to your library to help! Anything by Helen McGuinness will be very useful, also Lorraine Nordmann. I still find myself re-reading parts of these books.
