What do I need to open a beauty salon?

I am looking at potentially opening my own salon and this thread has been, helpful enlightening and heart felt. It has made me re#think what I thought I knew and I am more than happy about that.

Information from some of the top names out there? Who wouldn't listen?

Looking like Kalaa hasn't returned, I would have thought if she would have opened she would of been asking for more advice.....looks like we will never know!

So you want to open a hair and beauty salon and have absolutely no idea about hair and beauty? Well ok lots of people do that but usually they are business pros. Clearly you as you don't even know about liability insurance. It's fairly obvious that wage is dependant on experience and your choosing high street product ie st tropes????? I don't think you should be intending on opening any type of business just yet (no offence) let alone one that you have absolutely no idea about.
