st tropez, fake bake, tantrick etc. I have heard good and bad about them all. Don't like some of the ad's for each one. The tantrick one is a little sleazy. what do you think, is anyone using any of these. I need to get away from waxing it's driving me mad.

There are many brands to choose from hun.
Some companies will give you a sample to see what you think.
Personally I don't think the Tantrick one is sleazy at all!!
Do a search on spraytans...top rhs ....to find more opinions x

Are you trained in any system to spraytan?

I use Tantrick and am happy with them, I personally dont find the ad sleazy, I think its bright and eyecatching which is what you want (am assuming you are talking about the pink bikini one ?), check with Collin but cant you just use the Tantrick logo and perhaps put up a generic spray tanning poster in the salon if you arent struck on it ? As above, there have been loads of questions like yours, if you do a search you will find all the answers you want. There are so many different suppliers of solutions, etc to choose from, perhaps ask for samples from them all to help with your decision. Best of luck xx

I personally don't have a problem with the Tantrick ad.. I would say it's sexy rather than sleazy... but agree with sam28 that if you're not happy with the ad, you don't have to use it.

When choosing a spray tan supplier I think it is important to go for the right solution, the right machine, and good customer support. The way you market your business is a separate matter

It's a difficult one isn't it - I've just asked a similar question although haven't yet seen the actual literature

The most important thing to me is the tanning solution - if it's a good product and gives a good tan, then your customers will keep coming back.

However, attracting clients is also important, so good marketing materials is crucial too. From what I've seen of tantrick, I wouldn't say it's sleazy at all - it's bright and eyecatching, but I do think it will appeal mainly to a younger market, whereas Couture (and I haven't seen any literature at all, but going on their logo and name), is more likely to appeal to the older, perhaps more sophisticated market.

Which leaves one with a bit of a dilemma - which one...:?::confused::?:

Of course brand association is extremely important when considering which brand to use however it is also important not to loose sight of other aspects you do need to consider when choosing the brand you wish to use.
Training,Start up costs,Ongoing customer after sales support are just a few things to bear in mind also

HTH:hug:

This thread is bothering me... I'm just wondering how other geeks would feel if their advertising was described publicly as sleazy and tasteless.

Well if you think tantricks near the mark you havent seen Sienna Xs promotional material.
To be honest i don't know what they are thinking why would you want a therapist possibly spraying men and mobile wearing a t shirt saying ''make it moist make it last''.

You're absolutely right Collin, and I'd add the product to that. It takes effort and hard work to get clients, so the last thing you want is losing them once they've come to you because the product is no good.
This, for me, would be the priority.

ZoZo, I certainly never said it was sleazy, I don't think it is at all, but I think it will attract a younger market, whereas Couture will attract a more mature market (well from what little I've seen on the website, because I haven't seen any actual promotional material). I guess you really need to know who your target audience is, and that is likely to depend on your location and business.

I know you didn't.

Bear in mind that most pics for Spraytan advertising is to show people how gorgeous they will look with a tan.....not much point using Bella Emberg in a bikini to advertise etc.
And the wording is that it will make you look and feel good.....dare I say even sexy???

Ok - now I'm intrigued :) is there anywhere I can see these on the internet.

Go on any companies tan website and you can view their promotional material.

Yes i agree too. We cant all agree on certain things as we all have our opinions and i do have to say ...would you rather a good ad and a rubbish spray tan? To be honest i couldnt care less about the ad as long as the tan is good!!

Here is the web link for tantrick, where you will be able to see our beautiful bikini girl,
Hoodia,Tantrick,Detox patches,Breast enhancement,easyslim,Detoxify
i have clients in every age range for tantrick spray tans, the younger end like the ad image and the older end see the fun side of side of it,
i have only had one client ask me why the TANTRICK name and i explained if she broke it down to tan trick she would see the clever play on words,
she was happy with this and is a regular for spray tans,
but like has already been said it is the results that are of importance and tantrick has never let me down on any level hth
its not sleazy its clever marketing and it works

I havn't seen the Tantrick ad so can't comment on that but i did have a spay tan with that a couple of years ago and i thought it was brilliant, better than any others i've tried. I don't do spray tanning myself but i've always thought if i did that would be what i'd use x

Its the product that counts, and believe me I've been sprayed with a few

Well...why dont you go for it then

This is interesting to me, as I am considering which spray tan course to go on.
I don't want the 'You've been Tango'd' look.

So, which IS better????
