What do your mini facials consist of?

Just wondered what other therapists mini facials consist of?

Mine last 30 mins and consists of;
cleanse
tone
exfoliate
massage or mask
moisturise

Mine are the same except i tone after mask

Just wanted to say, I think offering a choice of massage or mask is a really good idea. Many salons would not include massage in a mini facial but from the clients perspective, that's often the best bit :hug:

Ours is fairly similar & also takes 30 mins:

Cleanse
tone
exfoliate
treatment mask
while mask is on, hand & arm massage
eye cream & moisturise

Mine contains exactly the same as your but I always do a little massage and always do the mask. I like your idea of them being able to choose though. Really good idea! x

You have to have training to carry out facials otherwise you can't get insurance. I did a VTCT in facial massage and skincare, and brand specific training with SwissDermyl, who wouldn't let me use their products until they had certified that I had a good working knowledge of the range.
There are many colleges which offer facial training, some part time, some short courses, some full time. However, whichever training you undertake it's only experience and further indepth training which will turn you in a truly outstanding facialist, which is surely what we all want to be for our clients, no?

My mini facial routine is thus:
double cleanse 4mins
tone 1 min
enzyme peel 7 mins
massage 5 mins
masque 10 mins
moisturise 3 mins

I too offer either a hand/arm massage or a scalp massage while the enzyme peel is on.

reading with interest the mini facials. i notice some people apply the masque before massage. which is better, also i was taught steam/ hot towels after initial cleanse, is that right
