:)I can't quite believe it, but yesterday I passed my brisa and fabric masters, finally accomplishing my goal of becoming a CND Grand Master. Still slightly shell shocked tbh, and can't quite seem to shift the rather large smile which is firmly plastered across my face. But then I suppose it has been 2 years in the making - lol
So obviously it's very cool (hard work aside), but now I'm wondering what to do next, being an education junkie there are still a few courses like airbrushing that I'd like to do, and I'm hoping that CND will do some sort of skills course to keep on top of new techniques etc, also I think now my kids are a bit older I may even take the plunge and try competing next year, as I think it's always good to have goals to work towards.
I know this thread has been done before, but what is everyone else working for at the mo?

CONGRATULATIONS

Many congratulations on becoming a Grand Master..... I'm starting my l+p Masters journey on July 12th.....

Thanx guys, and good luck to you with yours, I think the first one is always the toughest as you don't quite know what to expect, but it sure gives you a boost when you've done it.

Big congratulations to you Sarah:)

Well I have done my L&P and Brisa masters, but at the moment am not financially in a position to do anymore master classes, but hopefully later in the year I will be, well done on your achievement:hug:

 Well Done on your Grand Master status - you enjoy that big grin, you've earned every toothy inch of it

Well what drives me is wanting perfection, how I get there is the problem, did a set of nails for my daughter last night for her end of collage do and loved doing them so I guess thats answered my first question, do I keep doing nails or sell my kit? So Next is, get back to work and then so some skill builders and aim for my L&P masters, I like learning and coach driving pays the bills so I can, at last afford to be picky

Huge congratulations Sarah, well done xxxx

WELL DONE IN ACHIEVING 'GRAND MASTER' STATUS!!!!!!!!

Improving my skills to be the best nail technician I can be and providing my clients with great nail services is what drives me. I am in the midst of relocating so at a frustrating but exciting point where I don't know what the future holds. There is so much competition out there for nail technicians that you have to be be very well equipped to survive and maintain a successful client base.

The competition circuit has been one of the most challenging areas in the industry for me and I have learned so much from competing and it has made me a better technician too.
