What is a mini mani and mini pedi? please help!

Hi~ A lady wants to know if I can do a mini manny, mini pedis for a spa party she is having on Sat. I have never done one before and was looking online and didn't really find much.
From what I understand you don't cut the cuticle and you use no water....I would find that quite hard, especially if I will be working on feet. I don't want to work on dirty feet! If you have any info please help...

For my Express Mani and pedi I dont do any cuticle work, mainly just shape and polish, but I do soak for the feet.

Best think is to ask the client what parts of the treatment she wants included for the pamper party or how many people are attending and then you can set your price accordingly. If there is say 20 people you will probably want the treatments to be a short as possible as you would be there all night and day. If there is say 6 people then perhaps you could include more in your treatment.

For a mini pedicure i just cut and file the nails cream and polish i use a cleansing spray for the feet first if not using a spa. Mini man the same.

I have a file & polish on my menu and I remove cuticle, solar oil, file, hand lotion, scrubfresh, then polish.

Would you canll this mini mani? Is a file and polish literally just that, file and polish? Advice would be appreciated thanks

I would call what you are doing a mini manicure

I know any nail tech who does mini pedicures at pamper parties

she sprays the feet then cleans using wipes, she says using a foot spa is too much hassle

I would suggest that you don't use the terms 'mini manicure' or 'mini pedicure'...it really suggests to people that they are not getting a full, proper service and one that is literally 'squeezed in' between full treatments.

Something along the lines of 'express manicure' works better, as clients who need a quick service still think they are getting a manicure of sorts, not just a cutting corners exercise.

A) File & Polish (it is what it is!)
B) Manicure (cuticle work/ file & shape / oil and buff / scrubfresh/ base,etc.
C) Solar Manicure
D) SpaManicure
E) Paraffin Wax Manicure
