Hi I just purchased the TO Faith lift cream from Ebay and when the cream arrived I questioned the seller re the ingredients listed on the box as no mention of the ingredients TO advise. I received a reply that the product was unopened which it was and as far as she was concerned the ingredients have never changed but also advised the company was under investigation...Yes pretty worrying.. Can you advise of the ingredients listed ?

I guess they're not exhibiting at professional beauty then? 😂 x

I think they might have got lynched if they'd turned up!

They have been unable to respond previously due in part to their shock, hurt feelings and emotional distress ... Really?!

I agree with the previous geek, it's not very professional.

Their emotions are actually irrelevant at this point.

Company Update: 23rd February 2015 9.00am

As many of our partners, distributors, salon owners and staff will be aware, Tibby Olivier has encountered a significant amount of unprovoked and unwarranted negative online commentary over the last few weeks which has shocked and saddened the company. We have had to deal with several social media accounts that have been set up purely to cause us damage, (which is a breach of the terms of use of the platforms on which they appear) and to publish defamatory and untrue comments relating our company, our brand and our products.

We can only apologise to those who have stood by us if it appears that we have not been communicating with you at this time, but the scale of the online attack took us completely by surprise, especially in light of several hurtful and defamatory attacks made on our Directors.

These comments are intended to cause the company serious harm, and so we have been forced to instruct experts in the area of such online attacks to assist us. These Legal and Communications specialists are helping us to contact the relevant platforms and remove the content in question. If content is being removed, it is solely because the social platform has agreed with us that it constitutes a breach of their terms of use and other policies on the basis that it is harmful and unsubstantiated. The rumour that people have been blocked and removed from passing comment relating to us has grown due to the fact that we have been unable to respond in public forums. As a result of the various issues with which we are being forced to deal, our social media presence is currently being managed by a third party.

All activity relating to our brand and business is being monitored by the various social platforms involved, and further action may be taken if required. Many comments on various platforms and forums have been asking why we are not responding. The answer to this is because we are shocked and upset and that it’s hard to begin to calmly answer questions which are loaded with ill intent, or to respond to allegations made in closed groups to which we have no access. We have always been available to answer any questions throughout this period.

Our new website, which is launching during week commencing 23rd February will hopefully address some of the confusion and mis-information that is being circulated. Until then, we are keen to provide answers to the most common questions which have been asked of us during this time:

Our products are, and always have been, safe to use.

The wrap we use is used in many other applications, such as in veterinary practices, top level sports and to treat burns victims. It is technically LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene) co-extruded 5 layer “cast” high grade stretch film which is made of “virgin” pure polyethylene polymers and is 100% recyclable. It was selected to work with Shrinking Violet following appropriate testing and has been shipped for over 3 years. It is non-toxic and completely safe to use with the correct training.

We do use Beeswax in some products. This is the only animal product contained in our range. We are changing the description of these products, as for some, beeswax is seen as an animal product and therefore not vegan-friendly. We are truly sorry if we have caused any distress to any Vegans who have previously used our products.

Last year it was brought to our attention that two of our products' ingredients contained propylene glycol. We changed the formula several months ago so that this ingredient was removed.

Under no circumstances would Tibby Olivier be knowingly involved with any form of animal testing. Any claim contrary to this will be treated as defamatory. We work closely with several organisations and have made an application to join Go Cruelty Free as a demonstration of our commitment to a subject we feel very passionate about.

In relation to the allegations that the use of macadamia oil potentially causing an allergic reaction to people who have nut allergies. Macadamia oil is not one of the declarable allergens for nut allergies, it is not a food product and does not need warnings. Contrary to common belief, the Macadamia “nut” is actually a seed, not a nut at all.
We make these statements openly. The majority of the content on social accounts and forums relating to us over recent days is hurtful and defamatory, leaving us no choice but to fight to preserve our hard-won reputation and gain back the trust in our brand that we have fought to achieve.

We are focused on maintaining high standards in the quality of our products and service. We ask that you contact the office on 01200 428597 at this time, so we can answer any questions personally. We are here to talk to you.

We truly appreciate your support during this time, please do ring the office with your concerns.
