What is Solar Oil?

Dont mean to sound stupid but I keep seeing solar oil being mentioned for use daily on enhancements. I have never been taught to oil the enhancement, only to oil cuticles. Is it a cuticle oil or a special oil for oiling enhancements? Should I be advising my clients to oil their enhancements daily or to oil cuticle area? Cheers

it really is as good as it sounds hun, it sells itself, once clients have used it, they wont be without it, i love the stuff and myself and a few members of my family have severely damaged and weak nails(due to medical conditions as well as poor maintenance etc, which after few months using solar oil , have started to massively improve and it smells delicious too

When I put enhancements on I always apply solaroil afterwards and then advise them to apply it 3 more times in the first 24hrs and then once a day thereafter. Its great stuff cuz it penetrates through overlays and enamel and prevents the plastic from going brittle whilst nourishing skin and nails.

I would like to reiterate on th eword "lightest"...it really is and thats because of the quality of the ingredients...NO mineral oil or man made ingredients whatsoever,so it doesnt sit on the nails or cuticles,it sinks in...although theres nothing wrong in having "cosmetic" grade mineral oil in certain products,but thats another story and just my opinion...LOL:lol:

Just to add to the other's - with regards to what Solar Oil does - it also cut's the cure time of enhancements by half - (with Creative) so, instead of taking up to 48 hours for the enhancements to cure (be totally set, right through) it takes 24 . It keeps the enhancement plasticised and flexible and conditions the cuticle - it's magic stuff!

i agree it works and smells fantastic (all of them) i severely damaged my own nails training,i used the solar oil it works.....but may i also reccommend avons night dew treatment.that also works wonders
