i am opening my salon in may and need to know what tan to offer my clients
i will be using He-shi
any other great brands
please help

You will find hundreds of opinions on here about all the major, and some minor, tanning companies!

Put the words spray tanning into the Search at the top of the page and you will get enough reading to keep you going for hours:lol:

If you just put 'tan', you will get enough to read for days:lol:

Great advice from Fi in the above post.

Just one question though - what made you choose He-shi? I have never tried it so interested to here.

my clients i do in a mobile buisness at the minute all get he-shi as it is very naturall and last for ages!

i herd of A-tan ??

also a new brand Sun kiss?

what tan do all you use in ur salons

thanks for the help

I would personally try loads out (which is what I did) before making up your mind about which tanning solution to use for treatments.

Lots of companies will give out free samples. I use Sienna -x because i am am in love with it!! They are great for retail products, the customer service is FANTASTIC and all my clients are addicted.
But hey everyone is different! If you would like a sample of the Sienna solution, let me know and i will get one sent out to you.
Best of luck xxx

The choice of which brand to go with at the end of the day is a very personal one and one that is made best by contacting all the possible companies and talk to them..get a feel for how you think you will be treated on a long term basis and not only for the sake of the initial sale kind of thing.

Look at customer care, after sales, marketing support and equipment failure support issues ..

Get down to 2/3 possible companies and then go out and get a tan and see for yourself which you think is best.

Remember that going with a brand is a two way partnership between you as the customer and them as the supplier....make sure you receive their support as such a partner should give.

Good luck with your hunt

i rang around aload of companys and had a load of samples sent out in the end i decided to go with tantrick and i love the colour. i have worked with many tans in my previous salons but have to say tantrick has been the best one. It hasnt got a nasty TAN smell it dries really quick and has different colours so no more orange look!!! i had mine sprayed on tuesday and even today i have had comments from my clients asking where i have been on holiday!! unfortunatly no holiday for 2 years but hey i got a fab tan!!so i would have to say tantrick all the way personally but why not get a few samples and try out a few companies to compare colour, how long it lasts etc.
