what makeup courses to go on?

I am doin my level 2 in beauty theropy at the minute and i no i am doin a basic make-up at the end. I am doin a one off day class called art depo at my collage next week during the half term to get my skills up.

What courses can i go on and how much? i live in newcastle so it would need to be a decent time scale if i was to go somewhere out of newcastle.

MAC make-up is what i am instred in where can i go from here?

As you're still at college you could see if you could do some unpaid work experience initially to get your foot in the door. Before I went to London College of Fashion counters never paid any attention to my cvs, covering letters or passed on any messages to managers when I went in face to face to get conter jobs. My college made us do work experience, so i picked Boots for their counters and I somehow managed to get a Saturday job, made good friends with the Lancome Counter Rep and she used to give me loads of free stuff for my kit!!!!!

Don't forget MAC is part of the Clinique and Estee Lauder group so if there are vacancies there then that could be a sideways step until Mac opens up. And although MAC is really artsy it's still a counter at the end of the day so you will have to show that you are confident in selling the products you are using. Link selling in brushes if the customer only comes in for one eyeshadow for example
