Ciderella these are lush!

Thanks [emoji4] they were quick and easy (except removing all the red acrylic first!) but I think that tiny bit of holo on the tips made such a difference.

Ciderella how do you do your ombre please. No matter what method I try it never works.

I can't seem to manage a decent ombre effect either. It's driving me mad, and it's not through lack of trying either! Lol

Ok I usually do 2 or 3 beads....
I think the trick is to lay the bead down and quickly pat to each side then blend immediately. If the blending is left too late you'll get a line.
So...apply your white in zone 1, pat down and hold your brush the opposite way and gently blend up towards the client.
I do all 5 fingers then I go back and place pink in zone 2/3, pat to the sides and blend down towards the tip. Don't pull all of the bead down, just from the bottom of the bead or it will cover all of the white.
I then use a translucent pink (cjp negligee) over the blend on all ombre's and it blends it more and also protects it when filing.
Hope that made sense!!
If your white still leaves a line, place and pat the bead then dip into your monomer to only wet your brush and then blend

So magpie aurora is holographic right? And lightens up whatever colour you put it over? X
Yes it's a super holo but you only need the tiniest amount of it looks grey and dull.
I use a make up foundation wedge to apply it and take what's dusted on the inside of the lid, dab it on very gently then use a clean but if sponge to burnish it in x

This week's faves.

Here's my current set.

Inspired by @romallynails on instagram. I absolutely love her work, and only hope to be half as amazing as her some day #nailgoals

Wow, they certainly are bright! ;)
I was a bit dumb as the last week was more wintery than the dead of winter so far... I was also utterly unable to find clothes that matched in my very much wintery closet, but hey... I Girl's Gotta have some fun nails... It sure brightened up everyone's moods last week! :D
