Hi,

Given that fact that EMA & MMA are very strong odours can you tell me what other products are available to use for acrylic nails that do not have the same odour but has the same bonding ability as the above?

Remember I am not a nail tech....

??? MMA.... MMA has rubbish bonding ability which is why those who use it have to etch the nail to within an inch of its life.

Any products used by top end companies will be safe, professional and of a high quality.

So my question would remain what products to use? We actively discourage the use of MMA but find we have some problems with the odour from EMA so is there an alternative? a product that uses neither MMA or EMA ?
I am more interested in this from the odour point of view although the product must be able to perform

Gel or odourless L&P

I notice from your profile that you work for ENviromental Health The odour issue is easily minimised, but there are far more factors to consider.
How about talking to the team at www.safesalons.co.uk. I'm sure you'll get all the info you need.

Dear all,

Thanks for the help and yes the problem is only one of odour penetrating to the nextdoor shop.
I will look at the advice you have given

My best suggestion would be an odorless L&P - I find it as durable as regular l&p.
