What to pay someone to make tea and coffee and answer the phone?

Hi a girl came into the salon today and asked for a job and iv been thinking I need someone to come in on busy days to answers the phone make drinks and clean up.
Anyway she is starting on Wednesday but I'm not sure what I should be paying her?

Minimum wage which is age- dependant.

for apprentices aged under 19: £2.60 per hour
for apprentices aged 19 and over, but in the first year of their apprenticeship: £2.60 per hour

It's not just answering the phone, making drinks and clearning up etc she's also in effect the face of your business so there's an opportunity for that to grow with time, PR etc
