Hi everyone,

First time on this site but have been reading lots. I have decided to re-train as a nail technician and have been looking at what training is available. I wondered if anyone can advise me about the open learning diploma course from the Blackford Institute of Nails. I was thinking of doing this from home and then following it up with a 5 day creative nails course in Leeds.

I would appreciate any advise on what would be the best way to train, I don't want to fast track anything and I am prepared to put a lot of hard work in to achieve a good sound training.

Thanks

Juney

Why do both?? Why not get it "right from the start" and go for the Creative foundation colurse. This will get you started in the best possible way with award winning education ... and the best products.

I agree, you should save yourself money in the long run and go for the creative course, you know it makes sense! hth xx

I agree to, I trained with Star Nails last year and just done my conversion to creative, its fantastic. Wish I'd gone with them 1st but didn't have much knowledge.

I am currently training with CND and I have learnt sooooooooo much, I went in form scratch and can highly recommend it.

Seach the threads on here and you will find lots of information regarding the best training.

I did the foundation L+P, brisa and Spa manicure and Pedicure with Creative, they were brilliant and really helpful,I learnt so much and they are always willing to help if you phone, and their products are fantastic.

If you have the budget or the means to save for the creative course then go with that right away I would suggest as otherwise you will basically end up paying twice and some of the info may well end up being repitition.

Thanks everyone for the advise. I am going to contact Swwet Squared and book on their next course. I'll let everyone know how I got on. Thanks again x
