What a question?

I had a strange dream last night (one of many), that I won a million quid.

Great eh?

Mmmmmmmm. Well it turned in to a nightmare where I found myself being chased around the country after my spends!

Problem was the company I won the million from, wouldn't let me give it away to anyone. Not family, friends, or charity!!!

So,

What would you do with a million if you were not allowed to give some away to anyone???

Me?

I haven't got a clue! But may be you guys will give me a few ideas eh?

Just for fun that is!!:)

The world's your oyster, anything goes!

Quite funny really..my OH's friend won a few million on the lottery a while ago but tbh his life hasn't changed that much.
Same old places, same old people, but now they like him so much more.:)
I didn't like him that much in the first place tbh but have stayed really good friends with his ex.
I think it is so much harder for her.
She is the one who has to cope with the "what if's?????????"
I'm so over what if's.
Maybe we should all take a leaf out of that girls book eh?

I would buy a detached house!
Can't say anymore in case next door is a geek:lol:

I would buy my mums council house for her, so she can start having some fun instead of paying an interest only mortgage because she was too old for a normal one.

Also i would Buy my two daughters a house each because when they are old enough, they wont be able to afford one.

and for me........ a holiday home on Zakynthos:green:

  • Buy a bigger house
  • A boat
  • several holidays
  • a salon
  • horses for me and my daughter
  • tummy tuck!!
Not much eh!!!

I would love to open my own Spa but if I couldn't do that I would be chuffed as a chocolate frog to have my own salon.

Run away!!!!!!!:lol::lol:

i think i would invest in properties and businesses, also have lot's of holidays.

I think i would pay my morgage and then set up my business. I would probably import and represent Akzentz and hopefully become an educator, but that's my dream anyway, the million would def make it happen faster!

easy - but a house - im desperate to get on the property ladder! x

Count it!!!!

Seriously, of course you would give some away to pay off family's mortgages etc.

TBH I don't think I would move house...I love my house & garden, but it would be great to have the cashflow to do all the improvements I want to do all at once, instead of bit by bit.

I don't think I would give up my work either.......but I wouldn't mind taking some unpaid leave for more holidays!!!

Hubby probably wouldn't give up his work either....but more holidays would relieve any stress he had too.

So the only purchase I could think of would be a Villa somewhere in the sun to have all these holidays in.

I am going to have to start buying lottery tickets now !!!

Actually.... i wouldnt think there is THAT much you can do with a million pounds these days - considering an average 3 bed house in london will cost you £350,000....

So if I had a million pounds.. i would:

- buy a house
- buy a car
- buy a business

thats how far my million would reach i think....

I would do something I've always said i would do if I won a million, I would buy the massive house down the road on the seafront and convert it into a safe house for children who have or are being abused.

Obviously, as things are at the moment I would have to live there too, in the West Wing!!

Teri x:hug:

A million quid's a lot of money.

First things first, I'd have to give all my clothes and shoes to the charity shop and start afresh.

Secondly, I'd give my home a total makeover. Better still, I'd get the guys from 30 Minute Makeover to re-style it completely.

Thirdly, a luxurious holiday to the kind of place only dreams are made of.

If there's any change left out of that lot, I'd treat myself to a makeover ... a nip here, a tuck there .....

You've gotta be in it, to win it, so I'll keep on wishing my numbers come up on the lottery!!!

Pay off debts

Buy a house

Buy a car

Go on holiday for 6 months

Do more training

Buy a salon

Drink and party excessively:green:

Watch business go down the pan

Sell car

Lose business

Lose house

Get in debt

stuff it all under the matress and then avoid all the beggin letters and calls from banks offering to invest my money for me

i will always be happer skint and i know it :)

Well I would say that I would buy myself a house, pay the rest of the mortgage off for my 2 elder sisters houses, buy my Mam a house down here, and enjoy myself with whatevers left ...

But I suppose I will never know what I would do til I was in that situation, but my appraoch probably would be ... you started with nothing, so have a bloomin' good time!!

all i would like is enough to clear the mortgage....i think too much money takes your dreams away. I like saving £10 in a pot every week for that something special...makes it mean so much more. I'm not that keen on money...or should i say too much money. xx
