Hello everyone, I'm about to start up my business again after a 4 year break (moved counties and had baby) and I'm wondering about what products to use this time. I'm going to be working from home and possibly a bit of mobile too and thought about using the Skintruth products, but I don't know what they're like and am also stuck on which nail polishes to use. I'm thinking about Nails Inc, Orly or Essie. I used to use OPI and had no problems with them but there's a salon near by already using them and also feel like a change. Any thoughts would be a help. Thanks :green:

Skin truth can be bought at sallys which means your clients can walk in there and buy them,
it is not a good idea to use anything that your clients can buy outside of a salon as it will make you look unprofessional hth,
the best enamel i have ever used is CND and it is reasonably priced and never goes gloppy in the bottle hth

Thank you. It's strange, I feel more nervous about starting again than I did when I opened my salon 9 years ago!!

In my opinion I would go for Eve Taylor skincare range (very affordable trade and retail, no start up costs, excellent delivery times and customer service, beautiful and natural smelling products) and CND for manicure/pedicure shtuff.... :D

CND stands for creative nail designs, I have not got the telephone number here with me but I am sure a fellow geek will help me out. Very good nail polish from USA.

I would not use skin truth if you are starting out again these are wholesale brands and clients are quite savvy now about products there are lots of good premiere brands out there who do not want thousands to start up and will supply mobile and home salons.

PM if you need any help.
