What are the advantages and disadvantages of having:

Semi permenant lashes

temporary strip lashes

temporary lashes - clusters

What are the advantages and disadvantages of having:

Semi permanent lashes can last up to 3 month when fitted correctly and all after care followed, no need for mascara as you wake up looking like you have mascara on, never get any smudges from mascara that has slipped or from tears, you can have a very natural look or dramatic look, the look can be tailored to your needs.

temporary strip lashes these can come off half way through your evening, you are forever checking that they are still there, the glue is not very good and can be an irritant. forget the natural look lol.

temporary lashes - clusters
only last a few days, some times if your lucky can last up to 1 week, don't look very natural due to the bulb at the base of the clump. again the glue is not a medical grade so can be an irritant.

Hope that helps you out Hayley

Be careful. . . I have a client who had them done at another salon and had a reaction to the glue as it contained latex to which she is allergic, the therapist didn't tell her when they were applied. She now comes to me for temporary lashes (clusters) and is more than happy. Also depending on what sort of money you think people are willing to pay in your area should influence your decision as I've heard the semi-perm kind are pretty expensive, and people might think twice about spending heaps of money out in a recession.
