Hi, I run and own a nail room in my partners salon, and have now branched out to another room which I'm going to supply beauty treatments in, One of those treatments is going to be Waxing. I heard Phd wax is good, but that's a warm wax and I wanted to offer hot too.

Basically anybody used Phd before?? Is it any good? and can anybody recommend a good waxs? hot and warm??

Cheers, xx:)

Sorry never used Phd's wax before but i use Clean & Easy wax and have never had any probs with it and they do offer a fantastic range of waxing products:)

I use Carlton hot and warm wax, its been around for ages and i get amazing results with it :) hth

Hello,

I think you cant go wrong with Perron Rigot. Both their hot and warm waxes are the best I have ever used! You also cannot go wrong with the good old stick and pot for warm wax!
Good luck in your search, but Ive found that the more you pay the better quality stuff you get to work with.:)

I use Perron Rigot because I believe it to be the best on the market. You should try a few different waxes and see what takes your fancy.

We have just took on Metique Tea tree wax, it is fab.

i use berins , however there are loads of great waxes out there so try a few and see for yourself but you get what you pay for.

Hi use phd and i love it, no spillage in the car and its a lot quicker for application, i love it. That's my opinion though. I used to use the pot but took me a lot longer and as i work mobile i had the pot in a box on the floor and my back used to hurt after a bit after bending up and down in getting the wax. This system is a lot better also its more hygienic. :)

So many waxes, so many therapists, so many clients! You need to have a solid training programme which addresses all three variables. See as many practitioners, try a variety of waxes. Forest Floor is a great wax to begi with as it is so cost effective - then you may chose to move up to Perron Rigot, Harley or Berins.
