when solar oil loses its colour

at work we use the large bottles of solar oil and after about a month the colour fades to clear and the almondy(yum yum)scent disappears as well.
is it still ok to use or has it gone off,

Hi ya...

UV light has stripped out the colouration... Its still perfectly fine... I would just move it out of any direct sunlight.

just wondering wheather solar oil has a shelf life.im thinking it is probably about 6 months from opening ,but where i got from i dont know.

generally speaking, you can count on the shelf life being at least 1 year. However that will also depend on the storage of the product.
Heat and light will almost always lower the shelf life of any product.
