I'm trying to find a copy of Nailclass as I've heard its the best book!
Amazon are out of stock. Nothing on Ebay. Whsmith takes 4 weeks. I can't log in to Sweet Squared until I've done 1st 3 days of foundation (booked for May 17th).

Does anyone know where I can get one so I can start reading and practising before I start my course?

You could ring sweet squared and ask them for a copy seeing as you are booked in for the course, the reading part I totally agree with but my advise is don't practice until you have been shown.
I'm not being snobbish hun, but if you are not shown then you won't know if you are holding your brush at the correct angle or if your ratio is spot on and a little bit of makes a big difference.
It's hard to be patient, we know, loads of us are chomping at the bit because we are going to The Event and are dying to get our mits on all the new stuff that's coming out, patience is not our virtue:D

Thanks Susie! I'll try ringing sweet squared and see what they say....

I'm so impatient... I'm just toooo excited!:cool:

I've bought a nail trainer, and now waiting for it to arrive. It has instructions and dvd etc. Would that give me a little bit of knowhow enough to start practicing on it? I just worry that I should have some sort of experience before I go on the course, otherwise I'll just make a mess of things.

No, I'd agree not to try practising. You don't want to ruin your brush (very easy!) or to start picking up bad habits. They will also show you how to work safely. Once you've had your first block THEN practise, practise, practise. Read the tutorial on here too by Geeg and Sam and others, they're excellent.

Wouldn't have thought you'd have got your kit yet anyway. If you've got cheaper inferior products, don't even practise with them when you are learning, or you won't be getting used to the proper ratios and performance, etc of your course products.

Keep your enthusiasm and read the book once you get it. You've made a good decision buying a trainer hand too. It's a great asset for learning on (You have to name it by the way) Good luck for when you start your course! xxx

PS Geeg is Gigi in case you don't know, so her advice in the tutorials is wonderful.

thanks for your advice!!

I'll check out the tutorials and get Reading to prepare myself. I'm
really looking forward to my course ;)
