I did a Star Nails course a whole 9 years ago and haven't done any nails for 8 years. I originally did the acrylic that has to go off under uv light ( do they still do that kind? Lol )

I'd like to go back to it and want to use a system that dries naturally. Can anyone recommend one please?

Thanks

If you haven't done any nails for 8 years you really need refresher training as well as a new system as lots has changed in that time. I would recommend CND and either a 1:1 or a skill building class. Speak to Sweet Squared on 0845 210 6060, explain your position and they will advise you of the best course of action.

8 years!! You have allot to catch up on. Enjoy it.

I'm going to do a conversion via Sweet Squared doing L&P. I think that is the way forward hun. The demand seems to be L&P. I had Gel nails 12 years ago and for the last 10 years i've had Silk extensions and have just been learning that system at college but even my tutor swears by L&P.

I went 6 years without using l&p, just using gel. Ive now fully converted to l&p.

Im deciding whether to use ez flow or nsi, both are brill and slightly different. Technology has certainly come on, ive been swept of my feet with l&p!

Trial and error worked for me and it kind of came back to me, had i of had the moneyi would have trained to save alot of stress. I hope to refresh or train in l&p soon, although i am getting by well without. However i did a dumb thing i was cleaning my brush with acetone and ended up with contamination, a geek halped me out there. My old teacher in 2003 told me to do that! Trial and error! hopefully on yours and your familys nails before clients.

As you havent done any nails for 9 years, id do a course, be worth it in the end and saves alot of stress :)

Thanks everyone, think I'm going to have to do a course, I remember the basics and have my nails done by a friend every 3 weeks so watch her lol! :)

L&P?? I'm guessing that's liquid and powder? Same as acrylic yes? Oh also I'm presuming my 8 year old products will have gone off by now? Lol

Thanks
