I have a pair that I do not like, If the toesnails are really thick the cause them to crack or split at the free edge. I am in the US so if you know of some good ones online or at beauty supplys.

Thanks everyone.

I am still looking for the best toenail clippers after 6 years of doing nails!! My biggest peeve is that they all rust so fast!! But I can say that I don't care where I buy them, as long as they are straight edge. I can't stand clipping toenails with a curved clipper. A straight edge clipper allows me to cut straight across, and therefore minimize shaping of the toenail. I usually use Tweezerman tools. You can get them at Sally's. Otherwise I just buy a straightedge clipper from the drugstore.

MEHAZ makes a pair of toenail clippers that looks more like a giant cuticle nipper. They are the best thing for thick toe nails.
