Which beauty treatment??

hi geeks im a qualified nail tech but looking to do some beauty courses later in the year but im not sure which ones to do as i have heared ppl arnt getting much call for facials now a days i was thinking of doing a waxing course and the eyelash and brow tint and eyelash perm course and the eyelash extensions course but i thought id ask the experts first on what treatments they do the most of??? just to give me some idea in which order to these courses in

Hi there.

Not sure if this will be of any help to you but here goes.

I traind 6 years ago in nails main, pedi & L&P in 2008 decided to go learn spray tanning which I love so started up mobile since then I have learned waxing, eyelash and brow tinting and perming.

Once I started to do these courses I just wanted to learn how to do it all. If you are going private then doing a full diploma might work out just a cheap as doing a load of individual courses in the long run as they discount the full course. Add it all up first to see what it will cost individually and if you have trained in 1 area already they might change that for another course.

Just now I can not afford to do it all but would really like to do a beauty specialist course that I have done about 1/2 of and still woulld need to pay about another £700 to complete it.

Hope this is of some help. Once you start you can't stop its like opening pringles if you like them that is.....

hi thanks for that cath i have thought about that earlier this year its just i havent got alot of time on my hands with the business and my other job and the little one but i would love to do it and like you say most likely would be cheaper in the long run.

spray tan, waxing, eyelash/brow tinting, perming & nail extensions defenately, good luck

Spray tanning is a good add on hth

definitely waxing and eyebrow shaping, we do loads at our salon. Then do the tinting and extensions after, once you're confident with waxing. As the Geeks above said, spray tanning is popular too - but more of an initial outlay for the products. Good luck x
