:wink2:Hya Geeks, im jus after a little info, im starting off, and would like to know what you guys use, and what is better for value? I am only going to get a starter kit at first.

you should recieve a kit through your course or have one recomended by your trainer. its important to use the brand that is specified as directions will vary from brand to brand.

;)hi there i trained at a college, i bought my own nsi kit, this is going back about 4 years now. I am wanting to start up again, but i am wondering who to go with?? Also do i need to ov trained with either companies to get an account with them??

To buy products off the best companies like Creative and Ezflow you need to have done some training with them. Creative's training is amazing. I'm not sure if you could purchase products from other companies without training with them.

And as for going for best value, what do you see as value? If you mean cheap then you will only be getting what you are paying for which is poor quality. In my eyes the best value products would be those I pay more for but know will be easy to use, have a superior finished result and last flawlessly on my clients nails between appointments.

Ezflow for me, I tried others first though. The very cheap brands look good value but are not always long lasting or easy to work with.

Good luck with your training, whichever you choose x

Completly agree its Ezflow all the way for me! I have used cheaper brands and they are no where as good in quality. Start off how you mean to go on - provide a top class service using top quality products!

that will be just fine as long as your training is with nsi products. which course is it that you are doing?

i think i did not explain myself properly, i done my college course and when we were there we used "star nails" is it? Going back about 4 years now. I have done the odd set with my old simplicity elite kit.. but that is well old now. I am thinking ov ordering the attraction kit NSI and gett ing a few of their endurance files. I have all of the other items like the dappen dish, brush, acetone ect....
I do not have time to go on a refreshers course at the moment but would like any advice..
thankyou:biggrin:

I have just bought the nsi gel and attraction L&P starter kits. Tried the gel last night 100% better than my original college stuff. haven't tried the attraction yet but the videos on Nail Angel site are fantastic - great as refresher if you've already trained. You can but products from there too and P&P is free over £25
good luck

aww that sounds good. What is the web site?? Yeah i just need to refresh, i have got the attraction kit now, it was only ***** on the nsi site.x

I would do a conversion course as soon as possible. I myself have tried a few try me kits from various brands, and one thing I have learned is that without proper product specific training I had problems even with some well known and well respected products. I now stick to CND (use glitters and some colors to sandwich between my CND layers though)

I can recommend the nail angel site as well. Im doing my training with nsi in both acrylic and gel and its been so useful
