Hi there, just joined SalonGeek today, i am wishing to train as a nail technician (currently office based job) and am confused as to the best nail course to learn!
was thinking of the essentialnails home learning course to do evenings whilst i can still work -but then someone told me that cnd is the best course to learn but you need manicure qualification first?
any advise would be greatly appreciated please
thanks

The essential nails might be good if you want to get a taster without having to take time off work but if you are serious you will need to go on to do a recognised qualification so it will end up costing you more. You do not need previous qualifications to take the CND novice (jump!) courses. They are expensive compared to essential nails but you are provided with all the kit you need and it is top quality.

A good place to start looking is the sweet squared education website.
