Which Gel/polish for Long lasting easy French Manicure on Natural nails ???help ?

i have used bio sculpture nail gel on my natural nails to do a simple french manicure , but dont find it that great , have been doing bit of trial and error and googling different products and found this site , thought maybe some clever people could recommend me a good simple enough product that i can do myself , just a basic french manicure , gel or polish but really want something that will last at least one week !! just cant get anything very good .

any tips or advice be great .

Firstly, have you has any formal nail training? We need to know before we can offer advise as regards uv gel systems......

As regards polish, if you use polish including top and base coats from a top end manufacturer like CND or OPI you should be able to have a french mani that lasts a week. To maximise the time your polish will last you need to make sure your nail plate is free of contaminants and oil by cleaning it with a sanitiser or nail pllish remover, then use 1 cost of base coat (Stickey by CND), 1 or 2 coats of french white on the tip, 1 coat of pink over the whole nail and then 1 coat of top coat (Super Shiney by CND). Spray with Solar Speed Spray to decrease the drying time and you should have a long lasting french mani.
