Hi, I've just finished my bio gel remover and forgot to add it to my order that I placed last week. Don't want to put another order through just for this..what with postage cost and min order!!! so...can I just use normal Acetone to remove Bio Gel? Will it work as well? Thanks

Hello hope this helps.

Yes you can use acetone to soak off Bio. I have been unable to use their soak off and afterwipe as they will put perfume :irked: in it which gives me an allergic reaction. I use it in exactly the same way as they tell you to use their solution.

Feel free to ask if you need any more help.

Thanks for that. I know this sounds stupid but acetone is acetone right whether it's salon systems or another brand? Is one any better than the other. Just used salon systems one it hardly budged after 20 mins?

I had the same prob and used NSI acetone which worked well but did make the skin go white temporarily even though I used vaseline so I think bio has extra conditioners in it but it did definately work, make sure you buff to break the seal especially on the free edge.

Good luck X

Are you doing the wrap method when you soak off? I find it better than soaking in a bowl and even the 'little dipper' thingies. The heat helps to speed things along! I use the Salon System acetone too and i haven't had a problem.:)

Yes, using the wrap and foil method. Maybe I need to purchase some heated mits. Thanks

I just wrap the hands up in a warm towel that i've had on the radiator.:)
