I want to increase my skills and I am thinking of doing either Indian head massage or sports massage. Could anyone tell me please which is more popular and in demand?

Can you not offer both. You would get two different sorts of clients.

Two different things..... Indian head massage can be done in a hair salon easily and can be learnt inside a day. Sports therapy massage is a totally different job and set of skills. We taught our juniors to do IHM at the basin as part of every shampoo.

You should be careful with Indian head massage and just be aware that it is moving energy. I don’t understand how it can be tacked onto the end of a beauty course tbh. When I trained in it I could see a lot of colours and felt extremely sick. I was told to take my shoes off to ground me. A friend of mine had an out of body experience. Because it involves chakras it really isn’t just another beauty treatment.
