Hi Everyone

I'm looking for some advice on which type of nail extensions to get trained in. I've a qualified makeup artist and manicurist but I'm now being asked about nail extensions so think it's time to look into it. Which products would you recommend? and which is best for the natural nail?

Really appreciate your help on this one as I don't want to book myself on the wrong course!!

Thanks.:)

you would be better off doing some of your own research as you will get different opinions from different people.
ring some companies such as creative, nsi, ezflow and ask for some info on training etc...
the only thing i will say is that the products and nail extensions are only as good as the nail technician that did them.xx

i mix and match my products! And i love trying new products. :)

I thought that was what she was doing by asking!!

Although a lousy technician can ruin a good product there are those who have a reputation for turning out great nail techs using the best products.

Creative is the company to have won all the training awards and they also have the brand that is number one in the world in every category of enhancement products. Yes ... and I am a branded girl .. I do not mix and match. I have tried all and would never be tempted to change as long as CND lead the world in enhancement product innovation. I like being at the top end.

Where do you see yourself?

I trained at college with OPI(lena white) doing full NVQ. Excellent products, but found the company unhelpful when I wanted to buy further stock as I didn't have an OPI Cert. NSI products were good but anyone could buy them so I didn't feel as if I would be offering a completely professional service unique to qualified techs.
I decided to go with Creative because the customer service was so good, they support you with any problems and the products are excellent and easy to obtain once you are trained with them/done conversion. Also clients know that the brand is a quality brand and associate this with excellent service. Hope this helps!!!
