Hi Guys

I'm not a big fan of nail polishes but am beginning to get into them more. Normally I am a clear nail polish girl but there are so many different colours out that I wouldnt mind trying.

I have bought nail polishes in the past that I have been disappointed with and never bothered again, due to not drying quickly, gloppy, not good coverage at all and never glossy etc, etc.

Please can you help me find a responsible priced nail polish, that dries quick (I have a 9 month old, or a product that helps it to dry quicker), long lasting, glossy, and very good coverage.

I have heard about Nails Inc, Barry M, Essie etc but dont know about them or if there is anything better out there?

I know I'm asking for a lot.

Thanks

Interesting topic, as we are discussing this in Australia now.

You should only buy Polishes that are Toluene, Formaldehyde & DBP Free.

Essie is one of these. Not sure of other polishes as yet.

Google the above and see what problems can occur with these ingredients in them. You will be amazed.

Good luck.

Thanks, I am looking into Essie. Do you know a good place to get them?

Hi, not in the UK I don't sorry. But one of your suppliers/distributors should be able to help you.

Also, on here, there is a section on suppliers etc :)

China Glaze nail enamels are fabulous and quick drying!!!

Hi,

Essie polishes are distributed by Perfect nails in Borehamwood www.perfectnails.uk.com the nicest colours and orly polishes are lovely they last ages on the nail, you can get them in loads of different places but Graftons are the suppliers www.graftons.co.uk.
Also use Seche vite tp and basecoat,it dries really quickly, I use it on all my clients and especially for session work when models cant be hanging around waiting for polish to dry. Again you can get this from perfect nails.

hths x

Nails Inc and Creative are my favourite for fast drying. Also Air Dry top coat by Creative, makes the polish you have applied dry super quick!:)

Hi sorry to jump on this thread.
Can someone tell me where I can buy China Glaze polishes from in the UK.

I currently get mine from a friend of a friends salon at the moment which is not ideal!
