Hello everyone..

I really want to start a mobile spray tanning, but really unsure which brand to train in and use? Fakebake, St Tropez, California, Xentan, Sienna, Tantrick...the list is endless... any advice or reccomendations???

Thanks
Kim xxx:)

I've got a hair and beauty salon and we use Nouvatan. Its really cost effective and seems to be popular so far. Only downfall is that some clients like to have a weel known brand such as St Tropez or Fake Bake but once we explain to clients some info about the product they seem happy enough to book, and of course show them our own tans which definitely seals the deal! The start up pack was very affordable and I worked out that it will be very soon we will have made back our start up costs. Their website is www.nouvatan.co.uk i think costs are on there! :) Hope this helps you, but there are so many different brands to pick from...

You need to make sure your course is accredited. When you've done your course you need to get as many solutions as you can and try them all out.
I get quite a few people ringing and asking if i do St.Tropez or Fake Bake. They haven't had a tan before but they know the name.
I sampled lots of different solutions and these 2 were bottom of my list!
You can go and get a well known brand but if it doesn't do the job you want it to then you won't get much repeat business.
I use Nouvatan because it was top of my list and is a fab solution.
Only you can decide which one you want to use. Get some samples from companies which most will happily send for free. See how you like the colour, the smell, how long it lasts, how well it fades, how many different strengths it has and the customer service from your supplier.
Happy testing

Great thanks for your advice, another question..how do i go about the training i have emailed a few companies about it n have had no reply. How do i find out where to train/ book training? Probably a really stupid question but im new to this lol xx:rolleyes:

I think if you train with any reputable company then start trying samples out if you have'nt yet found the soloution for you, I knew I was going for xen tan (love it!) but they did'nt have any training in scotland when I trained, so I trained with fake bake, and actually love the wee fake bake piggy :) and it was also a really good deal for all the equipment. Shop around and see what you can get for your money hth xx

hi everyone. i am thinking of going for the michelle porter exotic glow tanning course which is £465 with the kit and course and the trainer coming to do the course at my house. but a bit worried if this is too cheap or dear. i really want to start a spray tanning mobile business and would appreciate anyone who could give me some advice or if you have done your tanning course by michelle porter and how you found their service.
