Both companies are reputable and offer excellent products.

Best is to speak to both to get a feel which one you would feel offer the best customer service, training ,marketing support etc.

I am not sure who provides training for LA however I am lead to believe that Suntana offer accredited training through a third party.

HTH and good luck with your decision making process

Hi I use Sunless Solutions and bought the Earlex HVLP spraying machine. Its light, sounds like a vacuum cleaner. I am pleased with it.

As much as i hate to burst your bubble hun,
the earlex machine is sold in diy stores for fence spraying, the needle is too big and causes you to use too much solution,
so it costs you more in the long run and you also get lots of overspray.
(i found this out to my expense years ago )

The T200 (minimist) is a great machine for spray tanning, hth

WRONG! If you went to a DYI store and bought a paint sprayer, what did you expect? :smack: If you buy a TANNING SYSTEM made by Earlex it is just for that, TANNING! The needle is the correct size, the gun is nothing like the DYI store type nor can you buy one that way. Plus the motors are diffrent becuase in Spray Tanning the units are used daily, unlike a DIY paint sprayer you paint your fence with then put it away and may use 3 times the entire time you own it.

FYI: ALL TURBINE HVLP SYSTEMS ARE BORN AS PAINT SPRAYERS. ITS THE REVISIONS THAT ARE MADE THAT ALLOW THEM TO PROPERLY APPLY TANNING SOLUTION AND MAINTAIN THE WORKLOAD.

onlythefacts

I think there needs some perspective putting into this thread as there seems to be some confusion developing.

It seems that Loubylou was refering to the older Earlex machines (possibly the HV3000) which here in the Uk were sold via Argos/B&Q etc and made it big into the spray tan sectors when every tom **** and Harry set up as a spray tan operator for a few quid and without adequate training.....

These machines were retailed for what they were... paint/fence sprayers and had an appropriate needle dimension..far to big for spray tan solution and consequentially over spray was indeed a major problem.

After heavy commercial usage machines started to break down as they were not designed for this function and consequentially the manufacturers withdrew warranty on machines used for spray tanning...quiet rightly

Now when an Earlex HV is generally being mentioned it is important to quote which model is being referred to as we can see confusion ensues.

The HV5008 has been specifically developed by Earlex in conjunction with a U.S, based spray tan equipment provider for the spray tan sectors and is therefore more than adequate to undertake the function it was designed for.

If there is a comparison to be had/made these generally are simply ones of personal opinion/preference.

Mine is that both the HV5008 and the T200 are superb machines which will both do a darn good job given the cost...come on now a couple hundred quid and you set up with a machine that will last a good few years and pay for itself over and over each and every week it woks it socks of for you:hug:

We as many spray tan companies offer both these machines as professional spray tan machines.

My own personal opinion is that the best attributes of both machines combined into one unit would be a world beater.

All down to money folks..remember you get what you pay for at the end of the day

Good luck

Thanks for your sarcasm (lowest form of wit) and conclusion jumping
where in my post did i say i had gone to a diy store ?
i didn't, i bought the machine in good faith before any spray tan training as many people do mistakenly,
yes i do now know as i did long before your large lettered reply where the HVLP system originates from,

i now use a Tantrick minimist pro system and the T200 minimist system for both my clients and many students that i teach,

even the new and improved system that earlex sells that still looks like an ugly vacuum cleaner uses far too much solution and creates way too much overspray,
it was only this week gone that i taught a student (with my minimist pro) who had bought one of these machines so i do know that they are still not much better than they were years ago.

And i can not go with out saying i think your first post on here was VERY RUDE and uncalled for. :irked:

Hi I bought the maximist kit from Suntana I use around 40 mls on clients thats with a double spray ,I am very happy with the gun its my first one so I have nothing to compare it to. I did want to buy the hvlp little pig from fake bake but was messed about by them so much regarding delivery times ect... I went with Suntana and it arrived next day delivery. I have had no problems with it so far.

Cassi:lol:

:hug:im doing my training with la tanning they have a deal on at mo with set up and training they were recommended to me

Hi Kate

I just mentioned this to another "geek" that Fresh Indulgence in Kent are selling the 2011 version of the Maxi Mist Pro which is a worthwhile investment! Absolutely fantastic! Beautiful spray and you use less solution!! Comes with free solutions too :)

I need a tent! who where and how much please!

Hi:)

I was just wondering what one you bought, I am on their website and there is 3 to choose from? I am just about to do my tanning training and my tutor said the machine may be good but I should probably use a tanning solution such as fake bake that will appeal to more clients. Any suggestions? Equipment | Spray Tanning Solutions

Thank you :)

I'm using CORPORA from Spain and the solutions are gorgeous. I like the HVLA system and I have not had any issues with the machine at all. You just run some vinegar water through when your done and that's all you have to do. The DHE solutions are really good and you look like you were lying out in a beach somewhere with a lovily Tan look not Orange or Pinkie color. I like thier product it's just hard to get a UK rep that is on top of re-ordering when your running out of low is the issue. I love the system and the price is reasonable.

I love my True Spray T200, easy to use, nice to look at and easy to look after!
