I am part way through my CND Foundation course, I have completed my first 3 days and am now practicing like mad before day 4!!! Included in the Intro pack we received the Velocity tips, which I quite like but, I am quickly running out. I need to order more and was thinking of ordering a few different types, so I was wondering which tips people tend to use more of and which ones you think I should order? Should I order some of each or are there some, I will hardly use? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Yvonne,
like you say, Velocity Tips are great, but if you are getting lots of practice in you must be running out! :)

I'm a big fan of CND Performance Tips, with Liquid & Powder I'd go for the natural coloured Performance Tips.
CND Performance Tips have no 'contact area' and no 'stop point' so require little to no customisation before application. You have info on these tips in your CND Foundation Manual. Performance Tips are great on most clients, but it is still a good idea to have tips with a 'contact area' and 'stop point' for clients with nails that are harder to fit to.
Hope this helps! Good luck with your day 4 and 5!!

There is a tip style for every type of nail shape in the CND range of tips. There are styles that you will use more often than others and your educator will advise you.

VELOCITY tips and the PERFORMANCE well-less tips are the ones you will use the most for sure. Both in natural colour and white French.
ECLIPSE for clients with high arched and dramatic curved side walls is also a must for me but I don't use them as often.

Thanks, to be fair, that is exactly what Julia Moran had advised. I was thinking of going with velocity and performance, and think I might have a small pack of Eclipse, just in case. I just can't get my head around when I would need to use Formation tips? xxx

FORMATION tips are a little outdated now in some ways, being a full well tip and most suitable for rather flat nails and they are the iconic square parallel side wall tip for the ultra square shape. They still are a huge seller in the USA and many other countries but not the most popular CND tip style for the UK.
