White residue on lash extensions

So I Used glue remover to remove some lashes recently before putting on a new set. When the set was completed my client had white residue on her lashes and it’s been a few days and it’s still there. And not on all the lashes. Do I use protein remover to remove it? Any other suggestions or help would be wonderful.

The glue got wet. Did she cry from the remover?
