White tips not bright

I did an acrylic set on myself. Something simple to cover my horrible nails. So i did a white tip with cnd perfect color clear overtop them and when i file and apply ibd intense seal and cure the white is not as bright. I am using the asp white tips and cnd retention liquid. I also tried doing the same thing with my asp liquid and powder and they were not as dull in color like with the cnd but they were still not a crisp white nail. And i know cnd is a fantastic brand but i do not know why this is happening. Please help

Is your cnd powder the clear or the natural? Mine is clear and shows true colors thru, where as my "regular" or natural acrylic tends to mute them a bit. Also, I've found some top coats have a bit of a tint that I don't notice unless its over a pure white.

Modified... I see where u said clear now... Hmmm. Now I'm at a loss.
Did you oil them before fully cured?
