white tips service question

Hey there geeks :hug:

Forgive me if this sounds daft but just wanted to ask when you do a set of white tips on a client what do you tell them regarding infills/rebalance?

I`m used to either sculpting the white or putting white over a natural tip so obviously theres no prob with infills/rebalance there.

infill will just be the same but after that its up to the client, some prefer tips to sculpts if this is the case they will need a soak off and new set after infill. Or if they are happy to have a rebalance I usually file the tip off or as this as poss. hth x

you can just rebalance them with white powder.

its no different to rebalancing a set you started with a natural tip and white powder. only thing to watch for is that your white powder is as strongly white as the original tip otherwise you will end up with a thin bit just around the new smile line where you can see the white tip showing through.

I never used to do the white tips but alot of clients like more of an unatural look shall we say so I have started to offer these now.

Yip! lol my older clients prefer gel or L&P overlays (sculpted) and my younger clients tend to prefer tips. I started only sculpting too and thought tips were cheating lol I actually prefer tips if I'm having french, but then again its easier and quicker to put tips on yourself than sculpt lol xx

I guess it`s all about giving the client what they want in the end and you are right I put a set of tips on myself and was alot less hassle lol.

I`m the same, I find my older clients want something a bit more natural looking and the majority of the youger clients ask for white tips, sometimes they look confused when I offer a choice lol xx
