who does your hair,nails etc?

I now have hair and beauty in my salon.. but ive been searching the net for someone to do my hair as i havent lived in this area long:lol:...

even though i have stylist in my salon ive just booked my second appointment with this stylist who is mobile.
i also use another nail shop near my house even though again i have someone who can do nails..

does anyone use other places for their own hair,beauty,tanning etc or do you get your staff to do it for you...?

i feel really weird going elsewhere but i prefer it... my hubby dont understand it at all.

I usually get my staff to do treatments on me. Not only does it save me some dosh, it also gives me chance to see how their performance is - a bit of a quality control so to speak.

You need to keep your staff on their toes, well, I think so anyway .

I have gone to other salons in the past to see if there's anything good or worthwhile that I can introduce.

Unfortunately, I've usually left feeling disappointed & miffed that I'd spent loads of money when I could have got it done for next to nothing :irked:

I understand that you might feel a little awkward, but i think its better to get your treatments done in salon.

Then when someone compliments you, you can say oh yes xxxx did my hair, she does a fantastic cut blah blah blah. Its all promoting your salon.

You could always tip them if that was what was making you uncomfortable xxx

not really a case of being uncomfortable but for me personally i prefer to do it elsewhere as i can relax more and my hair and nail treatment is my 'out of work time' so i do it out of work....

just wondered what everyone else does...?

ive had my nails done once by my beauty tech and the odd tong etc.. but generally prefer to do it in my own time and away from work environment.... as its my pamper time...
