Hi guys
I have finally watched the DVD, sorry for the delay, it will be posted out to the next person tomorrow xx
Learnt:
I need to invest in some much better wax, my wax never stays that workable for long enough.
I need to buy some re-usable spatulas.
I now feel confident that I will be able to hollywood/brazillian. (Kim to teach) lol
I will book a 1-2-1 with Kim asap.
DVD Observations:
Great instructional DVD, very clear and concise, well done Wax Queen x
Models were not hairy enough on some areas.
Nice thin use of Hot/Hard wax.
Questions:
I watched all the facial waxing carried out with hot/hard wax, im worried that I wont be able to get a really good line with it, how many of you do all your facial waxing with hot/hard wax?
When I am oiling the skin my wax doesnt adhere to it very well, even with blotting, would this indicate that the wax is not of such good quality or that the oil is not the best or that the wax is not complementing the oil?
I have to make my hot/hard wax really thick for it to stay in one piece, again is this the quality of the wax?
I am currently trimming some areas with a bikini trimmer but I think I may be trimming too short, what is the desired number for the trimmers to be on (if there is one)?
I dont think I have my temperatures correct, I am currently on number 3 (hive 1000 heaters) for both waxes and it was noted in the DVD that the hot wax should be hard in the middle and be able to touch inside the heater, I am sure I was taught no3 for both...
Sorry for all the questions but having just finished viewing I felt I needed to ask.
Ps; I have trained in Hot/Hard & Warm waxing.
It is a fab DVD and I would recommend it to all xxx
