Why I want to become a Nail Technician

First and foremost I love nails but there are other reasons, when I was younger and more naive I nearly had my nails wreaked by one of those dodgy salons, now I doubt they are trained or anything so I'm on a bit of a crusade to see that others get information and have their nails done by someone who is trained and informed themselves!

Anyone else had a bad experience with one of these salons? Is it only me who feels this way about them?

Also why is there no regulation in the Nail industry? Any campaigns for there to be?

This may sound quite a strange post but it's something I feel really strongly about and these people should not be just getting away without informing customers of the dangers, nor should they be practicing if they have no formal training in the first place, all in my opinion of course.

Don't set us all off, this is a very sore point in our industry that we all feel very strongly about,
individuals have tried, as have the big companies to make changes and have regulations but these things take a long time to get in place,
